My Plan for Healthcare Affordability
- Expand Right to Try for Terminally Ill Patients
No one should be denied access to experimental treatments that could save their lives. I’ll fight to strengthen and expand Right to Try laws, ensuring terminally ill patients in CD4 can access cutting-edge therapies without federal roadblocks. While some focus on government programs, I’ll prioritize giving patients the freedom to fight for their health. I am in full support of President Donald Trump’s agenda on this issue. - Increase Price Transparency to Empower Consumers
Healthcare costs are out of control because patients are kept in the dark about prices. I’ll push for federal policies that require hospitals, insurers, and drug companies to disclose costs upfront, letting CD4 families shop for the best care at the best price. Transparency drives competition, lowers costs, and puts power back in your hands—not Washington’s. - Replace Obamacare with a Competitive System
Obamacare has failed Arizona—driving up premiums, limiting choices, and drowning us in red tape. I’ll work to repeal and replace it with a market-based system that encourages competition among insurers, reduces costs, and expands affordable options. I’ll support reforms that guarantee coverage for these individuals while keeping premiums affordable through market competition—not government mandates. Our seniors, low-income families, and those with chronic illnesses deserve a safety net that works. I’ll advocate for policies that strengthen Medicare, expand health savings accounts (HSAs), and provide tax credits for low-income households in Mesa, Tempe, and Chandler—ensuring care for those who need it most without expanding government dependency. Drug prices are crushing CD4 families, from Ahwatukee retirees to Tempe parents. I’ll support federal policies that allow safe importation of drugs, increase generic competition, and crack down on price gouging by pharmaceutical companies. While some rely on federal handouts to mask the problem, I’ll tackle the root causes to deliver real relief.
