Border Security

As an Arizonan and your next Congressman for CD4, I understand that a secure border is the foundation of a safe and prosperous state. Our southern border crisis—marked by illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling—threatens our communities, strains our resources, and undermines our sovereignty. For too long, Washington has offered weak, half-hearted solutions like temporary aid packages or infrastructure projects that fail to address the root problem. I believe in a strong, conservative approach to border security that puts Arizona first. We don’t need more federal handouts or open-border policies—we need decisive action to protect our state and our nation.

My Plan for Border Security

  1. Finish the Wall and Strengthen Physical Barriers
A physical barrier is a proven deterrent to illegal crossings. I’ll fight to complete the border wall and ensure it’s equipped with the latest technology—cameras, sensors, and drones—to stop smugglers and traffickers in their tracks. While some focus on funding bridges or ports of entry, I’ll prioritize a wall that secures our border and protects Arizona families.
  2. Support Border Patrol and Law Enforcement
Our Border Patrol agents and local law enforcement are on the front lines of this crisis, but they’re underfunded and overstretched. I’ll push for increased federal funding to hire more agents, provide them with cutting-edge equipment, and ensure they have the resources to do their jobs. Backing the blue isn’t just a slogan—it’s a commitment to keeping Arizona safe.
  3. End Catch-and-Release Policies
The current catch-and-release system encourages illegal immigration by letting violators stay in the U.S. while their cases drag on. I’ll advocate for immediate detention and swift deportation of illegal border crossers, closing loopholes that weaken our laws. Compassion doesn’t mean rewarding lawlessness—it means enforcing the rule of law fairly and firmly.
  4. Crack Down on Human Trafficking and Drug Smuggling
Our porous border fuels human trafficking and the flow of deadly drugs like fentanyl into Arizona. I’ll work to dismantle cartels and trafficking networks by enhancing federal cooperation with local law enforcement and imposing harsh penalties on smugglers. While some prioritize humanitarian aid, I’ll focus on stopping the criminals who exploit our border.
  5. Secure Resources for Arizona Communities
Illegal immigration drains our schools, hospitals, and water supply, putting unbearable pressure on Arizona taxpayers. I’ll fight to redirect federal funds from sanctuary cities and ineffective programs to support border communities directly impacted by this crisis. Arizona shouldn’t bear the burden of Washington’s failures—our families deserve relief.
  6. Uphold Legal Immigration and National Sovereignty
I support legal immigration that respects our laws and strengthens our nation, but open borders undermine that process. I’ll oppose amnesty and chain migration policies that reward illegal entry and push for reforms that prioritize American citizens and legal immigrants. Our sovereignty isn’t negotiable—it’s the bedrock of our security.

A Conservative Vision for Border Security

For years, career politicians have dodged the border crisis with vague promises, bipartisan compromises, and federal spending that skirts the real issue. I reject the idea that more aid packages or porous ports of entry will solve this problem. As a conservative leader, I’ll fight for a border security policy that protects Arizona, supports our law enforcement, and restores order. With a secure border, we can safeguard our communities, preserve our resources, and defend America’s sovereignty—because Arizona deserves nothing less.
